Gemini begins Production of New Letter Style

Gemini Incorporated has begun production of acrylic letters with metal laminated faces, providing a low-cost, lightweight solution for sign professionals looking for letters and logos with a metal “look.” Gemini Metal Laminated Letters have the upscale look of metal required for interior uses, yet can be used in certain outdoor applications with Gemini’s “edge seal” process. Gemini’s metal-laminated letters can be provided with sealed edges that will greatly reduce deterioration and de-lamination caused by exposure to nature and the elements.

 

Gemini offers its full range of 32 pigmented acrylic colors in standard thicknesses ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" as the base for its metal finishes. By using its own extruded acrylic, Gemini has not only created a letter that is lightweight and easy to install, but has produced a sturdier metal-clad letter that has the appearance of solid metal at substantial cost savings. Initially, Gemini will offer seven metal laminates as standard products including:

 

  • Brushed Brass
  • Soft Satin Brass
  • Polished Brass
  • Brushed Aluminum
  • Soft Satin Aluminum
  • Polished Aluminum and
  • Satin Brushed Gold.

 

The returns can remain unpainted, or can be painted with matching metallic paint, or in any standard color or custom color with a matte or semi-gloss finish.
